‘Teenbeat’ has recently been released in Sweden and Canada. The first reviews are all positive!!!
‘ColdFront Records’ will be releasing ‘Teenbeat’ januari 7th in THE U.S. of fuckin’A!!!!
‘Stardumb Records’ will be releasing a compilation CD early next year including a previously unreleased track from the ‘Modern World’ -era.
‘Teenbeat’ finished 11th in ‘OOR’s Moordlijst’ not bad huh, for a band that’s totally being ignored?!

New compilation CD
Good news to all the beggars for our sold out EP ‘Kill Kill Kill Sex Sex Sex’!!! Travoltas are releasing a 22-track compilation CD, containing the full ‘Kill..’-EP, 7 previously unreleased songs, B-sides and two remixes. All the songs are from the 1996-1999 era, so no ‘Teenbeat’- outtakes. Release is scheduled for the beginning of October through ‘My First Sonny Weissmuller Recordings’.
The Cd will come with a booklet, containing all sort of info, stories, familtree, photos, all written by the founding members Perry and Vincent. Have Fun!!!

Travoltas replace Reef at Storsjöyran Festival (Östersund, Sweden 27 – 30 july)
Storsjöyran Festival (or The Great Lake Festival) is an annual event going back to the early sixties. The festival was started to create a festival of international size and standard. Something that is well reflected in the fact that the festval gathers 60000 visitors every year and is the second biggest festival in Sweden (the biggest city festival in Sweden). Artist references 1983-99: Bryan Adams, The Corrs, Suede, Motörhead, BB King, Texas, Skunk Anansie, Maria McKee, Crash Test Dummies, Inner Circle, Deep Blue Something, Junior Delgado, Neneh Cherry, Del Amitri, The Misson, Buddy Guy, The Buzzcocks, The Saw Doctors, Leningrad Cowboys, and many more. Travoltas at Lowlands 2000!!!
This is just in: Travoltas were officially confirmed to play at the A.W.E.S.O.M.E Lowlands 2000 festival! This is obviously the best news a Dutch Travoltas fan can hear. There are only 55.000 tickets available, so get your tickets now before it’s sold out 🙂
Lowlands will be the last gig of Travoltas in the Netherlands for a long time. Travoltas go on a European tour from oktober 11 ’till november 11. Most likely the following countries will meet your heroes: Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Swiss, Italy, Spain and France.
———————-Japan and USA—————————
When Travoltas are done touring Europe the band will take a week rest and take of for a two week during tour in Japan. An American tour will fill up the rest of the dates left in the year 2000.

Well, Travoltas did make a new video which will be showed on TMF/MTV in about two weeks. The video and single are called Pary For Sun and we can tell you one thing: the video rocks!!!! Travoltas are like little people inside of a radio (which belongs to guess what??? yeah, a beautiful girl in not so many clothes). She takes Travoltas to the beach (while they are playing Pray For Sun inside the radio). Unfortunately the radio doesn’t survive it’s trip to the beach ’cause Travoltas smash the complete inside of the radio with their guitars and drumkit. We can tell you it was a lot of fun shooting this video. Especially the part where we could break everything!
