Travoltas open ‘Uitmarkt’ ! Hot News!!! Travoltas will be opening ‘de Uitmarkt’ in Amsterdam on august 24th, together with the Dutch Metropole Orchestra!! This performance will be broadcasted LIVE on dutch television, and will be hosted by Paul de Leeuw!

New Album ‘Club Nouveau’ Out in May!!
Travoltas’ newest hit-product ‘Club Nouveau’, will be released on May 18th in Europe, Japan and the USA will follow later. The album is preceeded by the single “Do It Again” (with a B-side called ‘Opel Mantra’), which will be released on April 18th, ofcourse with a video! Both releases will appear on Roadrunner Records. As you can see, this will be a great summer!!

Flashback To The Beachboys
Travoltas will do 8 extra, very special shows in Holland, only playing songs by their all-time heroes: The Beach Boys!! They will perform with a special guest: TV-host Eric Corton. The last show (May 31th) will be recorded by Dutch television to be aired later this summer.

Besides that, Travoltas will promote the new album during summer, playing on festivals throughout Europe, so keep an eye on the dates-section.

NEWS

[February]

– Wow. That’s been a while. I kinda got a sad message for the diehard .net fans. But I guess you already sorta noticed. I’m gonna quit updating this site. I know it’s not even finished yet…

The reason is not a lack of time. If I wanted, I could create some more time. I guess the motivation is gone. I’m putting all my energy in my own musical projects, and my study.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love Travoltas’ music, and I’m really looking forward to the upcoming album “Endless Summer”.
“Modern World”, “Teenbeat” and “Club Nouveau” are still in my cdplayer a lot. And actually, I even will continue collecting all kinda Travoltas-related media. It’s just…I won’t be putting it online anymore.

Anyway, despite the lack of updates, I still think this site will be worth a visit for a Travoltas fan. After all, there are hundreds of photos and articles out here! And for the news you’d better check www.travoltas.com.

One more thing: the “zeldzame cd” we organised last year IS actually coming soon! I’m working on the cd-cover and Vince is working on the tracklist! I hope it will be right there with you people next month.
